2. Video Casting Submission Guidelines
Steps to Apply:
- Record a 2-minute video of yourself and save it to your computer or mobile device.
- Submit your video for assessment.
Video Requirements:
- Maximum 2 minutes in length.
- End the video with: "I would make a perfect housemate because..."
- Clearly state your Name, Email, and Phone Number.
- Avoid: filters, special effects, copyrighted music, and background music.

- Hold the camera steady.
- Shoot in a well-lit room, preferably during the day.

4. Eligibility Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old by January 1, 2026.
- Must be a South African citizen or permanent resident as of October 1, 2025.
- Must have excellent physical and mental health.
- Must be willing to live in the Big Brother Mzansi house in Johannesburg for ~100 days with limited privacy.
- Must complete medical and psychological assessments if selected.
- Background checks (civil, criminal, etc.) will be conducted.
- Certain individuals are ineligible: employees of MultiChoice, sponsors, and their immediate family members.
5. Semi-Finalists & Interviews
- Selected applicants will be contacted via email within 3 weeks.
- Semi-finalists may be required to travel to Johannesburg for interviews.
- Must submit additional documents (ID, birth certificate, passport) and complete Participant Form Package including confidentiality agreements.
