Matlala, reportedly tied to controversial businessman Brown Mogotsi, has been accused in online discussions of playing a central role in questionable financial dealings. Allegations suggest that funds were funneled through specialist companies and intermediaries, with some users claiming connections to the sealed CR17 campaign bank statements that supported President Cyril Ramaphosa’s rise to power.
